Time to Nominate Your Professionals!

Do you know a professional, media representative, organization or parks and recreation advocate that you would like to recognize? Nominate them for an MTRPA award!


How to Make a Nomination:
All nominations must be from a current MTRPA member. To make a nomination, simply prepare a brief biographical statement of the nominee and an abstract (not to exceed 200 words) that describes why you are making the nomination. Please include your name and contact information as well as the nominee’s contact information.

Submit your nominations by September 19, 2016 to Amy Teegarden. For more information, please contact Amy at (406) 447-8462.



New Professional Award
Recognizing an individual who is relatively new to the profession who has exhibited innovation and ambition while helping to advance the goals of MTRPA.

Professional Award
Recognizing an individual who continues to provide leadership and make contributions to the profession and furthers the goals of MTRPA.

Recognizing efforts that contribute to the general public’s understanding and greater awareness of parks, recreation and conservation programs.

Remember the deadline to register for the ID\MTRPA conference is Tuesday, October 18 for the reduced rate. The Bi-State Parks and Recreation Association Conference “Connecting our Communities” is October 17-20 in Idaho Falls, ID.
