MTRPA Conference: Hotel Reservations, Awards, Ageda

2017 MTRPA Conference October 5-7, 2017 in Missoula, MT

MTRPA partners with the Idaho/Montana Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA) in Missoula on October 5-7, 2017 at the Holiday Inn. This conference will be filled with excellent education opportunities for park and recreation professionals, planners, landscape architects, architects and engineers with CEUs for each profession. The conference kicks off Thursday with educational sessions and field trips. Friday’s educational sessions will be geared toward all design professionals and parks and recreation, along with field trips and lifeguard instructor refresher course. Saturday will feature more tours at Fort Missoula Regional Park.

The conference will take place at the Holiday Inn in Downtown Missoula on the Clark Fork River. This centrally-located facility is within walking distance to restaurants, night life, shops, trails and fishing access. Reservations can be made by calling 1-877-410-6667. Mention you are with the ID/MT ASLA Conference for a rate of $139/night. Reservations must be made by Monday, September 4 in order to receive this rate. All conference events are either located at the Holiday Inn, withing walking distance or transportation is provided. Make your reservation through this link and click Online Reservation. Do you know a professional, media representative, organization or parks and recreation advocate that deserves some recognition? Take a few moments to nominate them for consideration of an MTRPA award.

Eligibility: Open to individuals and organizations in the state of Montana. Membership is not required.

Nomination Process: All nominations must be from a current MTRPA member. To make a nomination, prepare a brief biographical statement of the nominee and an abstract, not to exceed 200 words, that describe why you are making the nomination. Include your name and contact information.
